I am a grateful member of AA. I love the Live and Let Live Club and if you are looking for an honest, service centered bunch, here we are, join us for one of our activities or stop by for a meeting, we’ll be glad to have you!

March 27, 2003 is my recovery birthday. It was the time in my life when I needed to get my inner and outer life turned around. I’m so much more healthly now in my physical, mental, spiritual, emotional selves than I was when I was in my addiction. Glad to be in recovery.

I am thankful that the Live & Let Live Club was here when I entered recovery in 1983.
The dependability and unconditional help given by club members who freely provided help during the early days of my recovery is a pleasurable memory that still astounds. If help is needed, either to begin recovery or to maintain recovery, this is a wonderful place to do just that!

Hi. Hopefully my recovery birthday will be today! I’d like to quit drinking and have no success trying on my own. I’m interested in joining your club but am wondering if you are pretty open to newcomers. If somebody could answer some questions for me I would really appreciate it. My email is becca14@riseup.net

September 5th, 2008 is my recovery birthday. Hopefully that date will stay the same. I am so thankful for this club. I couldn’t stay sober without it. So, to the other newcomers, I say come on down do a meeting!

I’m Jann and my recovery date is Dec. 15, 1985. I’ve come to the Club off and on for all these years and always found some kind of help: social, spiritual, and mental . I recommend to anyone who is thinking about getting clean or sober (or both!) to come to the Club (or any 12-step meeting) at least three times. If you don’t feel like talking during the meeting, grab someone after the meeting and ask your questions. Go out for coffee and tell your story. Just Keep Coming Back. It Works and You’re Worth It!!

I just wanted to thank the Club for having its’ hand out. Back in ‘89 I made my first attempt at getting Clean & Sober, tried ALL the programs y’all had to offer and did not stick around …… until 2005 when I finally did get Clean & Sober. This next Tuesday will be for me my 4th Anniversary!
The one thing I *did get* back in those days was a sense of a Higher Power, and that did stick with me all through these years. Today, I serve in several different capacities of service, my favorite of them all is being the Grapevine Rep. It, the Grapevine has been an immense tool and I have enjoyed sharing it with others.
Also, have to give a shout out to the KISS Group in Newberg, they really took me in when I had nowhere else to go.
Living one day at a time
In Love & Service,
